Sean – welcome! Thank you for giving us some of your time today! Fill us in on all of the details of your collaboration with Katherine Rose Cline! How did that come together?

She was rapping with another friend of mine on stage.  I couldn’t even hear her, but she had swag for days, and then I went up to her, she is super gorgeous, so I was very intimidated, but I still mustered up the courage  and asked to collaborate and she was so pure and sweet, that I knew it was divinely guided. We did a song for my performance at Echo Park Rising and it was a hit!

You are a very talented songwriter! How do you know when a song is finished? Do you every feel frustrated with the song writing process?

There are times when I know I’m on the cusp of a hit, but still looking for that remaining ingredient  to make it really sparkle and that frustrates me at times because I will not release the song until I feel it “drives“ from start to finish.

What has been your biggest challenge in the music industry?

The biggest challenge for me is not fitting into a set genre, so that I can be easily sold….I’m okay with that because I’m not cheap…

If you had to give up music – what would you do to be creative?

Die…. but in the most dramatic and gorgeous and high-fashionable way possible. Like plunge from a rooftop in red, billowing silk, so I can float down like a God… you know, go out in an outrageous finale.

You exude confidence – what advice would you give other struggling musicians or people in general who are having a hard time believing in themselves?

Just always remember that if the talent is there, you can always do what you truly want, never feel you have to conform, talent supersedes all, “they” will conform to you!

What is your favorite social media platform to connect with fans? Why?

Instagram, because it has memes, it has DMs, it has hashtags, it’s like all the best of all the other platforms in one location.  I like things streamlined and it’s easy for me to talk to fans via comments.

Anything else you would like to share with our readers?

It you want to have fun at a live show and not be bored, always check my bio on IG to see when I’m performing next.  My shows are always entertaining, they’re like going to Broadway on The Moon.
