Interview with Rose Bates

Interview with Rose Bates
Celebrity Sightings, Fashion, Music

Hello and Welcome Rose! You have a new song that you just released titled “Young God’. Congratulations! Do you feel nervous or excited now that it is out?

It’s a total mixture of the two! I’m excited because this is a song I genuinely adore and means a lot to me. Also I think it’s a clear improved example of my sound. But I’m also nervous to see where it takes me and my career and what the next step in my journey will be because of it

Can you share more about the song with us? Did you write it?

I did write it! Although I got some help with the lyrics from
my producer Max Hurrell. We were both in a studio in LA when we were working on it so it was a group effort!

How did you first get into music? Do you remember the first song you wrote?

I think the first song I wrote was called Friday and I was about 7. I remember coming up with a hook and couldn’t stop singing it around the house hahah. Not sure if that tune would be my style nowadays though I’ll admit haha.
What genre of music do you consider your work to be?

I’d say dark pop or alternative pop. I relate to people like The Weeknd and Billie Eilish in the sense that their both making mainstream music with their own edgy twist to it.

Anything else you would like to share with our readers?

That they’re welcome to contact me and say hello anytime. Talking to people who listen to my tracks is so much fun and makes me so happy!

Tell us where we can get the new single and where to find you on IG.

You can find it on most major music streaming platforms but I’d say the quickest route would be Spotify.

And my Instagram is @missrosebates
