Kim Sledge is a member of Sister Sledge, a group she formed with her three siblings, Debbie, Joni and Kathy, in the early Seventies.
The band, renowned for its disco music, achieved phenomenal success with the album We Are Family. The title track and the single, He’s The Greatest Dancer, topped the R&B and dance charts in America and made it into the British top 10.
