Amber Rose and Blac Chyna are back and better than ever! The longtime pals, who admitted to previously having a “falling out” have reunited for ET.
Rose and Chyna, who now goes by Angela White, recently spoke with ET’s Deidre Behar about their next chapter together, opening up about their recent reconciliation.
“Amber had reached out and she was like, ‘Proud of you and your sobriety,'” Chyna shared with ET.
“Chyna is so much more than my friend. She’s like my sister,” Rose explained. “So when your family member that you love, when you feel like you have to grow, they never stop being your family, and I think that’s what people don’t understand. We always remained family, we just, again, had to grow and go our separate ways for a little bit to come back and be better than ever. It wasn’t anything salacious or mean.”
As for what their relationship is like today, Chyna shared that they have better communication.
“I feel like it’s more open communication is there, being just open and honest, you know what I mean?” she said. “I feel like that’s the main thing and just being real. I feel like we’ve always been that but like that, but now it’s like, it’s not a lot of noise.”
Chyna also believes there’s something to the length of their friendship.
“To have a friend for like that long, it means a lot because a lot of people, they just fall out,” she said. “I’m really blessed to have Amber as a friend, and she’s always been super motherly and loving and nurturing.”
In December 2023, Rose spoke with ET shortly after her reconciliation with Chyna.
“We weren’t [close], actually, for a long time. We had a falling out, me and Chyna,” Rose admitted at the time. “But I’m happy to say I was with her all day yesterday. It’s really nice to have her back in my life. I missed her so much. There were nights where I cried for Chyna. She was like a sister to me.”
When pressed on what led to the falling out, Rose simply replied, “I think that we both had to get our lives together so that we could circle back and be better than ever, and that’s what we did.”
The longtime pals are teaming up with chef Bruno Serato to help him serve his 10 millionth meal to underprivileged children through his non-profit Caterina’s Club. The veteran chef was just honored with the 2024 President’s Lifetime Achievement Award for his humanitarian efforts, and ET was in the kitchen with the trio as they cooked up the meals.
“I meet so many people in my life, but those two girls are 10. One to 10, they give us 10,” Chef Bruno told ET of Rose and Chyna.
Rose explained why the cause was important to the two friends, sharing, “Me and Chyna did not grow up rich by any means, actually, very poor. To be able to be in this position and give back is very important to us.”
