K-pop boyband SEVENTEEN’s performance unit have released a music video for their new song ‘Spell’.

Back in April, SEVENTEEN dropped their first compilation album ‘17 Is Right Here’ led by the single ‘Maestro’. In addition to the new single, the record includes brand-new tracks by the group’s performance, hip-hop and vocal units. The group have now released a visual for ‘Spell’, sung by its performance unit formed by Hoshi, Jun, The8 and Dino.

The new visual cuts between the members dressed extravagantly to symbolise different tarot cards and performance scenes where they dance to the track by the ocean with a team of dancers.

Adilla kia akia syurapoe / Cast a spell in a language only we know / Adilla kia akia syurapoe / Cast a spell in a language only we know,” they sing in the chorus.

Last week, SEVENTEEN released the music video for ‘LALALI’ by its hip-hop unit, which comprises members S.Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon. The visual for the vocal unit’s song ‘Cheers To Youth’ has yet to be unveiled.

In addition to lead track ‘Maestro’ and the three unit tracks, ‘17 Is Right Here’ also includes Korean versions of the act’s Japanese songs, as well as 20 of their hit singles.

In other K-pop news, NCT rapper Mark has released a music video for his new solo single ‘200’. According to the idol’s agency SM Entertainment, he is preparing to drop his first solo album sometime in February 2025.

Elsewhere, TWICE’s Nayeon has unveiled several collaborators who will appear on her upcoming second mini-album ‘NA’. They include fellow K-pop idol Julie of KISS OF LIFE, AKMU’s Lee Chan-hyuk and singer-songwriter Sam Kim, among others.
