SEVENTEEN have shared a new music video for their song ‘Headliner’, following the conclusion of their expansive ‘Follow’ world tour.
SEVENTEEN’s new music video for ‘Headliner’ highlights moments from the band’s ‘Follow’ tour, which first began in July 2023 and saw them perform in numerous cities across Asia, including Seoul, cities in Japan, the Philippines, Macau and more.
The clip features never-before-seen footage of the band during rehearsals and soundchecks, as well as moments from the concerts, alongside shots of fans holding up SEVENTEEN lightsticks. The ‘Headliner’ music video was released just hours after their final ‘Follow’ tour show in Yokohama’s Nissan Stadium on May 26.
‘Headliner’ was originally released in October 2023 as part of SEVENTEEN’s ‘Seventeenth Heaven’ mini-album. The song has since been performed at several ‘Follow’ shows following its release.
The boyband’s ‘Follow’ tour, which initially concluded in Macau in January 2024, received an extension with three additional encore concerts. Those began in Incheon, South Korea in March 2024 and concluded this past weekend in Yokohama, Japan.
Last month, SEVENTEEN released their first-ever compilation album dubbed ’17 Is Right Here’. It which features a number of hits from their nine-year-long career and includes four new song: title track ‘Maestro’ and three B-sides from the Hip-Hop, Performance and Vocal Teams respectively.
Next month, members Jeonghan and Wonwoo are slated to make their debut as a new sub-unit with the single album ‘This Man’. More information about the duo’s upcoming release is expected in the coming weeks, with the full record due out on June 17 at 6pm KST.
In June, SEVENTEEN will also become the first K-pop act to perform at the 2024 edition of the iconic UK music festival Glastonbury. In the same month, the boyband will also headline Lollapalooza Berlin 2024.
