The popular ongoing K-drama The Midnight Romance in Hagwon is all set to air two new episodes, 7 and 8, this week on Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. Meanwhile, the latter joins the same academy as hers, hoping for a career change and to pursue Hye-Jin, his first love.

Episodes 7 and 8 of The Midnight Romance in Hagwon promise some tension, as per the newly released trailer. After Joon-Ho confesses his feelings for Hye-Jin and kisses her, Hye-Jin decides to draw a boundary and avoid his feelings altogether. She reveals her plans to shift to a rival academy and completely ignores any questions about what happened between them. This comes as a shock to Joon-Ho, who now remains in the dark with respect to their building romance.

The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Episode 7-8: Jung Ryeo-Won avoids Wi Ha-Joon’s feelings

The upcoming episodes 7 and 8 of The Midnight Romance in Hagwon will document the aftermath of Lee Joon-Ho confessing his feelings to Seo Hye-Jin and the two sharing their feelings. Meanwhile, viewers will witness the academic competition at Daechi Dong and how the Daechi Chase Academy survives.

The trailer starts with Seo Hye-Jin revealing her plans to shift to the rival academy, Choiseon Korean. Previously, the academy’s director, Choi Hyeong-Seon, offered Hye-Jin a lucrative job offer as the assistant director. Initially, she was skeptical about it. But after Daechi Chase director Kim Hyun-Tak tried to get rid of her after the failed joint lecture, she decided to consider the new offer.

Furthermore, Seo Hye-Jin prepared Joon-Ho for the events to come. After their joint lecture failed, Hye-Jin received a lot of negative attention from people. Considering how an experienced instructor has failed to attract students, Hye-Jin told Joon-Ho that many rumors would be going around about her. She further expressed that the neighborhood would be noisy because of this issue for some time, so Hye-Jin advised Joon-Ho to pretend he didn’t know anything. However, Joon-Ho doesn’t wish to do so.

Hye-Jin then desired to take their relationship a step back and return to how they were before. Hearing this, Joon-Ho is taken aback and demands a reason. Hye-Jin noted that Joon-Ho wouldn’t be able to meet his goals in the academy if he kept talking about her being his first love. When he asked if his feelings didn’t mean anything, Hye-Jin ignored the question. Instead, she asked him to focus on getting enough training from her to sustain himself.

To watch it all unfold, don’t forget to tune in to The Midnight Romance in Hagwon Episodes 7 and 8. It airs on Saturday, June 1, and Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. KST on tvN. Meanwhile, viewers can also stream these episodes on Viki.
