Clairo has given her new single ‘Sexy To Someone’ its live debut in a surprise appearance at a Ryan Beatty show – watch footage of the moment below.

The Atlanta-born artist recently dropped her latest track ‘Sexy To Someone‘, which will appear on her upcoming album ‘Charm’. The record is due to be released on July 12 – you can pre-order / pre-save the LP here.

Now, Clairo has sung the song for the first time in an unexpected appearance at Ryan Beatty’s Bowery Ballroom show in New York. Singing the song in the encore, Clairo gave an intimate performance of ‘Sexy To Someone’, accompanied by Beatty’s band.

Once her performance ended, fans watched as Clairo and Beatty embraced in a hug. Take a look at Clairo’s ‘Sexy To Someone’ performance below:

Clairo’s last LP was 2021’s ‘Sling‘. In a five-star review of the albumNME shared: “Both musically and lyrically, this is Clairo doing what she does best – crafting gorgeous jewels that help you make sense of your own world, one step at a time. ‘Sling’ might take inspiration from classic songwriters of yesteryear but, decades from now, it will be Cottrill whom our future artists hold up with similar reverence.”

She also spoke to NME in anticipation of the album, where she talked about her many collaborations such as on Arlo Parks’ ‘Green Eyes’ and Sassy 009’s ‘Lara’.

“I think that’s probably one of my favourite parts about making music – being able to share experiences and have some camaraderie together,” she told us. “I didn’t know how to go about that for a long time, but I’m really lucky to have met so many amazing musicians.”

Elsewhere, Clairo has shared a demo recording titled ‘Lavender’ via Bandcamp, with all proceeds from its sales going towards Doctors Without Borders.

She also performed at the ‘Artist For Aid’ concert in New Jersey to help raise funds for the ongoing humanitarian crises in Gaza and Sudan.
