From the highly anticipated return of the Amazon Prime Video series Mirzapur Season 3 to the nostalgic lanes of a 90s love story in Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, there’s something for everyone. Mirzapur Season 3

The highly anticipated Mirzapur season 3 is gearing up to drop on Amazon Prime Video, thrusting viewers back into the gritty underworld of the lawless Purvanchal. Following the intense events of the previous seasons, Guddu (Ali Fazal) now sits on the throne, alongside Golu (Shweta Tripathi) and Beena (Rasika Dugal).

Garudan

RS Durai Senthilkumar’s latest directorial, Garudan, explores themes of loyalty, betrayal, and revenge in a rural setting. The story centers around Sokkan, an orphan living with sadhus, who is brought into a once-royal family in Theni by Karuna (Unni Mukundan). As Sokkan becomes a loyal friend and servant to Karuna, the plot thickens when a politician from Chennai schemes to seize the land belonging to the local temple, leading to a web of legal and personal conflicts.

The film features Soori, M. Sasikumar, Unni Mukundan, and Roshini Haripriyan, among others. With its intense storyline, this upcoming OTT release is a compelling watch that delves into the complexities of human relationships and the consequences of unchecked ambition.

Malayalee From India

Release Date: July 5, 2024

Malayalee From India, featuring Malayalam star Nivin Pauly, is a much-anticipated film this week. The story follows Aalparambil Gopi (Nivin Pauly), a jobless man from Kerala, who ends up working on a desert farm in a foreign land during the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Known for his idle lifestyle and fervent political beliefs, Gopi’s life takes a drastic turn when he is forced to flee his home due to political unrest and find employment abroad, working for a Pakistani farmer.

This upcoming OTT release portrays Gopi’s journey of survival and self-discovery in a setting far removed from his comfort zone. All in all, the film’s storyline weaves together themes of political fanaticism, cultural clashes, and personal redemption.

Kill

Release Date: July 5, 2024 (Theater Release)

This upcoming theater release, Kill, is an adrenaline-fueled action thriller directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The story revolves around Army commando Amrit (Lakshya), who goes on a mission to save his true love, Tulika (Tanya Maniktala), from an unwanted arranged marriage. However, the seemingly normal train ride takes a dangerous turn when a gang of dacoits led by Fani (Raghav Juyal) terrorizes the passengers of the New Delhi-bound train. 

Produced by Karan Johar and Guneet Monga Kapoor, this high-octane film promises edge-of-the-seat action and a gripping John Wick-esque storyline. With Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, and Tanya Maniktala in lead roles, Kill is gearing up to be a blockbuster that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats. 

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha

Ajay Devgn and Tabu are reuniting for an epic love story titled Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. The trailer establishes that the upcoming theatrical release is a musical love story that comes with a dash of nostalgia from the 1990s era.
