Chinese actress Jing Tian, also known as Sally Jing, has been a popular name in the entertainment industry. After graduating from Beijing Dance Academy and Beijing Film Academy, she rose to fame with her breakthrough role in the 2011 film The Warring States. A Journey to Meet Love sees Li Xin Yue (Jing Tian), a white-collar worker, finding herself in trouble. An adaptation of Fei Wo Si Cun’s novel Le You Yuan, the drama follows the story of Li Ni (Xu Kai), the emperor’s grandson, guarding the border. Having never experienced love from his family, he hides his identity and is content with being an ordinary border general. Moreover, he shows no interest in fighting for power.

During military campaigns against the rebels, he crosses paths with the ambitious Cui Lin (Jing Tian), the only daughter of General Cui Yi. Cui Lin also conceals her true identity and disguises herself as a lieutenant. While calculating each other’s moves and schemes, they end up falling in love.

The Legend of Zhuohua (2023)

Mu Zhuo Hua (Jing Tian), who is an illegitimate child, wants to break away from the conventions women are forced to follow during her time. She flees town on her wedding night and enters the capital to seek a position as a female official.

During her journey, she meets the legendary warrior Liu Yan (Feng Shao Feng). Despite losing the war, He refuses to give up. Initially, the two intend to use each other for their selfish motives, but they eventually join hands to create a world where women are treated as equals.

City of Streamer (2022)

Adapted from Mi Bao’s novel of the same name, the drama is set in Shanghai during the Republican era. Driven by a vindictive motive, Feng Shi Zhen (Jing Tian) tries to get close to the Rong family. She becomes a tutor to the young master, Rong Jia Shang (Timmy Xu).

However, in the midst of testing and using each other, Feng Shi Zhen slowly finds herself falling in love with the enemy’s son. When the truth of the injustice that happened twenty years ago begins to surface, the two lovers come together to ensure justice is upheld.

Rattan (2021)

The romantic drama Rattan revolves around the story of Si Teng (Jing Tian), a hybrid of a plant and alien who was hunted down by a Xuanmen hunter and eventually buried.
