They might not be the best guys, but we sure love to hate them. Since the inception of The Bachelorette, a whole bunch of questionable men have entered through the doors of The Bachelor mansion. Yet, suddenly, it got a lot worse when social media and Bachelor in Paradise became part of the game. From that moment onwards, some contestants became the worst versions of themselves just to gain some notoriety.

To be loved might be out of your control, but to be hated is an easy feat to accomplish. To stir the pot can go one or two ways, the fans love your outspoken mind, or they’ll hate you for it.

But then there are the hidden villains. The ones who think they can get away with everything — that their nice facade will last. Often, a more abrasive personality takes the lead during the season, yet there’s always a moment when their act evaporates, and the real version of themselves pops out. This is what happened to Devin Strader, who broke Jenn Tran‘s heart in the shocking Season 21 finale.

One thing is for certain: To be a villain means that you will forever be engrained in Bachelor Nation history. Scroll down to see our ranking of Bachelorette villains and cast your vote for the biggest baddie.
