Anti-LGBTQ+ activist Corey DeAngelis has seemingly admitted to having appeared on gay adult website a week after numerous websites noted that he had appeared as “Seth Rose” on the gay adult video website GayHoopla.

DeAngelis, who wrote The Parent Revolution: Rescuing Your Kids from the Radicals Ruining Our Schools — a 2024 book endorsed by former President Donald Trump — went silent on social media after several media outlets noted his striking resemblance to Rose, who had appeared in videos entitled, “Jerk-Off Race,” and “Super Star Compilation! How Many Strokes Til You Cum?!”

In his first post on X since September 19, DeAngelis wrote on Monday morning, “As an activist for parental rights and school choice, my passion is personal. Just like everyone else, I have made mistakes throughout my life, learned from those mistakes, used that as an opportunity to grow and tried to channel that experience into something positive.”

“I was a victim of poor decisions and poor influences,” he continued. “I have turned that experience into the fuel that fires me to save young people from being put in the same position I was put in and to help parents protect their children. I will never stop fighting for what is right.”

DeAngelis then reposted no fewer than 98 re-posts of various right-wing allies and commenters praising his work as a so-called “school choice” advocate, someone who supports redirecting taxpayer money to fund private for-profit schools, a major goal of anti-LGBTQ+ Christian conservatives. Such schools can reject students for any reason and operate largely without government oversight to ensure that they adhere to federal nondiscrimination laws.

Despite DeAngelis’ seeming admission, the American Federation for Children (AFC), the “school choice” organization where he once served as a senior fellow, has still scrubbed his existence entirely from its website, deleting his bio page and past articles.

In a recent Fox News appearance, DeAngelis claimed that public schools are “focusing more on the LGBTs than the ABCs,” a statement echoing a right-wing claim that accepting LGBTQ+ students and opposing anti-LGBTQ+ bullying in schools degrades the quality of public education.

“It’s just propaganda and a way for the left to control the minds of other people’s children,” he said.

In a September 16 post on X, DeAngelis shared an image showing the “radical left’s 2024 weekly lesson plan.” The plan included “mandatory pronoun recognition,” “drag queen story hour,” and “boys participating in girls sports.”

“School choice defeats the woke mind virus,” DeAngelis wrote.

The Advocate noted that DeAngelis reportedly didn’t attend the “Rescue The Republic” conference in Washington, D.C., last Sunday where he had been scheduled to speak alongside other anti-LGBTQ+ extremists like Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice, Charlie Kirk, and Jordan Peterson.
