K-pop girl group TWICE have announced a brand-new mini-album ‘Strategy’ slated for release this December.

TWICE announced the upcoming project today (October 21) at midnight KST through their social media channels. Titled ‘Strategy’, the upcoming mini-album is scheduled to be released on December 6 at 2pm KST/midnight ET.

The announcement arrived alongside the first teaser image for ‘Strategy’, which appears to be a cropped photo of a black van in an outdoor parking lot, with someone’s hand throwing up a peace sign from the backseat window.

More details regarding the album’s title track, full track list and more are expected to arrive in the coming weeks.

‘Strategy’ will mark TWICE’s second mini-album of in 2024, arriving approximately 10 months after their 13th mini-album ‘With YOU-th’ – headlined by title track ‘One Spark’ – in late-February. The album also included pre-release single ‘I Got You’, which also received a Lauv remix.

Following ‘With YOU-th”s release, TWICE became the third K-pop girl group in history to top the Billboard 200 chart, following BLACKPINK and NewJeans. The record made its debut on top of the Billboard 200 for the week ending February 29.

‘With YOU-th’ also received a glowing four-star review from NME, with Tanu I. Raj writing: “As they inch towards a decade in the music industry, it feels right to go back to their roots and reaffirm that bond – a constant, enduring reminder that no matter the highs or lows, fans will always have TWICE.”

In the time since TWICE’s last group release, the members have been embarking on several notable projects, including Nayeon and Tzuyu’s solo projects, MISAMO’s sub-unit comeback in November and more.
