Music legend Cher has endorsed Kamala Harris for president in a to-the-point message of support.

“She is fighting for all of us,” Cher said in the 21-second video posted to social on Friday.

The Believe singer is a longtime Democratic ally and has been politically active since she burst onto the music scene in the 1960s.

This summer, the 78-year-old shared she was conflicted over Joe Biden staying on the ticket after his disastrous debate performance in June, and she predicted defeat for the Democrats without a change.

“In my heart I’m tortured, because I don’t believe the Democrats can win the Presidency with ‘Pres Biden’ ‘Joe’ whom I’ve loved since we met in 2008,” she wrote in a post at the time. “I campaigned for him I believe it’s time to pass the baton, time for dems to think ‘way’ outside the box. Maybe even a split ticket.”

Cher is mom to Chaz Bono and has advocated publicly for her transgender son’s rights. Now, she is all in with Kamala Harris and her message of inclusion.

“I’ve followed Kamala Harris since she was my U.S. senator,” Cher says in the quick clip.  “She fought for me then, and she is fighting for all of us now. That’s why I’m proudly voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. I know they will fight to protect our rights, and I’m so grateful to be able to make my voice count this year. I hope you will, too.”

She captioned the video message with a call to action.

“I’m voting for @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz, I hope you will too. Go to http://IWillVote.com to make a plan to vote. Go to http://go.kamalaharris.com to find ways to get involved.”

Cher is among a legion of music royalty endorsing or actively campaigning for Harris on the trail, from Gen Z performers to Cher’s contemporaries like Barbra Streisand, Carol King, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, Linda Ronstadt, and Willie Nelson, who’s planning a cannabis zoom call in support of Harris.

Charli XCX, Taylor Swift, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Justin Vernon, P!nk, and Billie Eilish are appealing to a younger demographic with public endorsements and performances for Harris.

Lizzo appeared with the VP this weekend in another polished clip pushed on social, demonstrating the Democratic nominee’s ease with — and connection to — younger voters and their favorite performers.
