Taylor Swift invited Sabrina Carpenter onto the stage during last night’s Eras Tour show. Check out the footage below.

Swift was performing at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on Saturday (October 26) when she told fans she was going to do something different for the acoustic section by singing someone else’s song.

“It’s been stuck in my head,” she told the crowd, before beginning to sing Carpenter’s huge hit single ‘Espresso’. After playing for a few seconds, she paused and asked fans: “Is it OK if I call her, and you guys can say hi?”, and then picked up the phone and dialled Carpenter’s number.

Swift then put the ‘Taste‘ singer on speakerphone and asked her how long it might take her to get to the stadium. Moments later, Carpenter walked on stage.

They performed a mashup of ‘Espresso’, Swift’s ‘1989’ vault track ‘Is It Over Now?’ and another one of Carpenter’s big hits, ‘Please Please Please’.

Elsewhere on the final leg of her record-breaking Eras tour, Swift was joined by Florence Welch for a duet of ‘Florida!!!’, their collaboration from Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department‘.

The same night, Swift’s costume changes, most notably her new ‘Reputation’ bodysuit, have sparked rumours she may be set to announce another Taylor’s Version album.

The pop star also recently announced an official book to commemorate the ‘Eras Tour’, as well as the physical editions of her ‘Anthology’ album.

Meanwhile, Carpenter is currently on her own ‘Short N’ Sweet’ tour across the US, in celebration of her album of the same name which NME rated four stars. “Her individuality occasionally feels a little diluted, the likes of ‘Good Graces’ and ‘Bed Chem’ moulded in Ariana Grande’s image,” the review read. “For the most part, though, who Sabrina Carpenter is has never been clearer – and her long-awaited, hard-earned climb to pop’s summit should continue with ease.”

The singer also recently announced the UK and European leg, which will take place next year with former NME Cover star Rachel Chinouriri as a special guest.

The shows kick off at 3Arena in Dublin on March 3, with further shows in Birmingham, London and Manchester – see all dates below and grab tickets here.
