RAYE has performed a medley at the 2024 MTV EMAs – see the internet’s reaction to her performance below.

Last night (November 10), RAYE was just one of several performers at the Co-Op Live Arena in Manchester. During the show, the singer-songwriter was awarded Best UK and Ireland act, beating out the likes of Dua Lipa, Central Cee, Hozier, Charli XCX and Chase & Status.

For her medley, RAYE performed ‘Escapism’, ‘Oscar Winning Tears’ and ‘Body Dysmorphia’ with a choir and a small orchestra. You can watch the entire performance in full below.

Following the performance, fans and viewers took to social media to share their thoughts on the singer-songwriter, with a unanimous positive outlook on the fast-rising star.

One user wrote: “RAYE the only thing I’ll give you Brits credit for in 2024”. Another wrote: “Just watched RAYE perform and she actually is one of the best vocalists of our time.” See more reactions below.

RAYE’s 2023 debut album ‘My 21st Century Blues’ scored a four-star review here at NME: “Granted her creative independence, the hard-fought ‘My 21st Century Blues’ is unequivocally RAYE from start to finish.”

Since her debut, her only proper release since has been ‘Genesis‘, which arrived in June. The multi-BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter previewed the track live at a special pop-up exhibition in New York City earlier this week, saying she was “so proud” of how it had turned out.

The singer-songwriter most recently revealed that the wait for her sophomore album will take longer than expected after her car was broken into and her songwriting books were stolen.

Elsewhere at the 2024 MTV EMAs, Taylor Swift won four awards – the most of the night – while Sabrina Carpenter clinched Best Song for ‘Espresso’, Ariana Grande for Best Pop, Liam Gallagher for Best Rock, Eminem for Best Hip-Hop and more.
