CKY frontman Chad I Ginsburg has claimed that he punched Alien Ant Farm‘s Dryden Mitchell in the face out of self defence – see what Ginsburg had to say below.

Last weekend (November 9), Alien Ant Farm and CKY kicked off the UK leg of their joint tour, which was first announced back in April. However, just hours before the opening date at Margate’s Dreamland, Alien Ant Farm’s Dryden Mitchell announced that CKY had been kicked off the tour.

At the time, Mitchell explained that he had confronted Ginsburg for “treating multiple crew members and opening band members like trash through the Europe shows and cause general drama around our camp” before he was punched in the face.

Earlier this week, Ginsburg briefly explained: “UK CKY fans get your money back!!! I had NO choice and GOOD reason for what happened. I will always defend myself. You know me much better than that!”

Now, however, the CKY frontman has expanded on his claims, writing in an Instagram story per Consequence: “Nothing wrong with defending yourself from a bad guy. If you are attacked or feel truly threatened, have no fear and stop the threat however you can.”

Ginsburg continued: “I had to protect myself. It was a split second reaction to a very angry guy muttering then yelling #*%! at me from 10ft away charging at ME, into my personal space! Coming at me. He was attacking me! I felt a physical threat and had I not tried to avoid the attack, I would have been assaulted. For fucks sake.”
