Josh Seiter, the grifting ex-Bachelorette contestant and “clout-chasing” trans hoaxster, got a fresh fix of attention this week when his Drag Race ex-girlfriend spoke out about the one-time couple’s relationship after Seiter spent months “owning the libs” with an elaborate and faked “transition” that involved him regularly wearing makeup and dresses.

Monica Beverly Hillz, a Drag Race alum and the first contestant on the show to come out as trans, dated Seiter for several weeks in 2023. Theirs was one coupling among several that Seiter pursued with fellow reality TV stars to maintain his online celebrity.

In May, he started his long-running trans troll with an announcement to his Instagram followers that he was now a woman.

“I have struggled with my gender identity — and resulting feelings of guilt and shame — for as long as I can remember,” he wrote at the time.

Last month, Seiter admitted his transition was a hoax, a four-month journey into womanhood to “expose how gullible and delusional the left is.” Seiter is an outspoken supporter of President-elect Donald Trump who has regularly focused political attacks on trans people.

Hillz’s first public comment after Seiter’s cruel joke came in reply to a TikTok user who posted about Hillz and Seiter’s past relationship and how it figured into Seiter’s years-long obsession with staying in the spotlight.

Seiter claimed, earlier the same day, that he had faked his relationship with Hillz. The TikToker ascribed Seiter’s transition ploy as a reaction to Hillz dumping him.

“So all this, this little stunt, being the result of being dumped by an actual trans woman, is f**king insane,” the TikToker said pointing to Seiter in lipstick. “Seek help.”

In a reply to the TikTok video, Hillz posted on X, “This !!!! Whoever She is , Tell her I said ‘Thank You” for this!”

“Thank you so much,” she added in a reply. “[It’s] something I don’t wish upon anyone took me a whole year to finally talk about it.”

Among Seiter’s other publicity-seeking stunts that cashed in on Hillz’ clout: Shortly after their break-up, social media lit up with news of Seiter’s death. He faked it himself, according to the drag queen.

Hillz recounted in the same interview how Seiter broke up with her, and his Instagram post that followed.

“I’m getting blown up by screenshots of him talking like, ‘Me and Monica went our separate ways,’ and posted that he’s concentrating on his adult film career, which he never told me about.”

Seiter also claimed to be bisexual last year in a play for gay fans.

At this point in Seiter’s story, it’s hard to know exactly who he/she/they are. While Seiter exposed himself nearly a month ago as a trans fraud, he continues to post as his “libs-owning” alter ego.
