My Chemical Romance have sold out their entire 2025 North American tour – a total of 365,000 tickets – within hours of their release.

Last week (November 12), Gerard Way and co announced their “Long Live The Black Parade” US tour in celebration of 2006 album ‘The Black Parade’. Tickets went live on November 15 and completely sold out within hours of them going on sale.

“My Chemical Romance would like to thank their fans for selling out their 2025 stadium tour. Hours after tickets went on sale last Friday, fans acted quickly and 365,000 tickets were sold,” read a press release.

The ‘Teenagers’ hitmakers have also announced a second night in Los Angeles at Dodger Stadium on July 27 2025. You can visit here to purchase tickets for that date.

During the ticket sales for the tour, fans took to social media to express their dismay at how expensive tickets for the stadium tour were.

According to a screenshot of the Ticketmaster website, tickets were priced at anywhere from $63.50-$695 (£50.30- £550.58). “$695 is NASTY WORK COUNT YOUR DAYS MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE!!!!” one fan wrote on X/Twitter.

“I love my chemical romance and I don’t judge anybody for complying but no way in hell will i ever be able willing or able to pay 700 bucks for a show,” another said.

Others reported that ticket prices soared later on in the sale, prompting speculation among fans that the band had opted into dynamic pricing. The controversial practice inflates ticket prices based on demand and it’s now understood that it can be turned on or off by artists.

My Chemical Romance‘s diverse array of support acts for their 2025 US stadium tour also drew a polarised reaction online.

Each show will feature a different hand-selected artist as opening support – Violent Femmes100 GecsWallowsGarbageDeath Cab for Cutie and ThursdayAlice CooperPixiesDevo, IDLES and Evanescence.

Elsewhere, fans have been speculating that My Chemical Romance‘s latest teasers go beyond ‘The Black Parade‘ tour and may be hinting at new music.

Under a Reddit post about potential new music, fans pieced together potential clues about new videos.

“So, the Taylor Swift fans figured this out,” it read. “Youtube’s total video number showed on a channel includes private & unlisted videos. If a video’s total number of uploads goes up by one but no video appears, it’s because a video has been uploaded that’s private or unlisted.

“The MCR channel’s total was 162 for ages and ages, and it went up to 163 a couple of days ago, that 1 new video being the trailer.” They said it was 163 on the November 12, but “this morning, it’s 164.”

Fans also shared their hopes for new music in the comments section of the band’s Instagram. “A new album would mean so much to people who cannot afford to go see them live. I hope they are thinking of those fans also,” wrote one.

Others were less serious. “Keep edging me I’m into that,” quipped one, with another commenter joking: “The fuck does that mean michael romans.”

In other news, Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park recently revealed that they had inquired about touring alongside the ‘Helena’ singers in 2025.
