Liam Gallagher has responded to the ‘leaked’ setlist for the upcoming Oasis reunion tour and shared hints about what to expect from the shows.
Oasis confirmed that they would be making their highly-awaited return to the stage last August – confirming a string of huge stadium gigs in the UK and Ireland to take place in 2025.
Following the extraordinary demand for tickets, the band later shared news that they would be taking the tour around the world, announcing dates in North America, South America, Australia, South Korea and Japan.
Unsurprisingly, there was huge speculation about which members would be joining Liam and Noel for the massive shows, and fans also began questioning which songs from their extensive discography could make the setlist.
Recently, a list of Oasis songs began circulating on X/Twitter, with some fans claiming it to be the “leaked” setlist for the upcoming gigs. The list has even made its way over Liam Gallagher too, leading the frontman to weigh in on whether there is truth to the post.
When sent the list by a fan, the singer responded on X and confirmed that while it isn’t the official setlist the band have drafted up, “it’s not far off”.

According to the post, the band would open the gigs with ‘Acquiesce’, before following on with classics like ‘Some Might Say’, ‘Lyla’, ‘Shakermaker’ and ‘The Hindu Times’.
The middle of the show would see the brothers break out renditions of ‘She’s Electric’, ‘Stand By Me’, ‘Stop Crying Your Heart Out’, ‘The Importance Of Being Idle’, ‘Half The World Away’, ‘Whatever’, ‘Slide Away’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Morning Glory’.
In total, the list predicted that the show would see 21 songs played live, and end with performances of ‘Rock’n’Roll Star’, ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, ‘Live Forever’ and ‘Champagne Supernova’.
While Liam didn’t share any further details on how the setlist would look, or which parts of the “leaked” post were accurate – he did respond to another fan who asked whether or not any of his solo tracks would make the cut.
When asked “Which solo song of yours would you include in the Oasis live setlist?”, the singer gave a simple one-word response: “None”.
None

Although little is known about which songs Oasis are looking to break out when they hit the road later this summer, it is fair to assume that there could be truth to Liam’s claims that the setlist will resemble that one made by fans.
Long before the announcement of the comeback was shared, for example, Liam responded to a fan asking “reunion dates when?” by openly writing “Nxt Friday”, although this was brushed off by many fans as being unserious.
Similarly, during an interview with NME in 2020, Liam said an Oasis reunion was “gonna happen very fucking soon”, and Noel also explained in early 2023 that he would “never say never” to the idea.
What’s more, Liam seemingly told fans about the Oasis reformation and plans for new material back in April last year – over four months before the official confirmation – when he responded to a fan on X saying that he and Noel would begin working on a new Oasis record in November.
It has not yet been confirmed whether or not any new material is coming from the Britpop icons, nor whether they have been into the studio together yet.
As for the upcoming gigs, it is still unknown who will join Liam and Noel on stage. Some past reports claimed “no other original Oasis member is expected to join the reunion” and that “the members of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will step in for the concerts”, although this seems unlikely.

In other Oasis news, last month Blossoms revealed that not even Noel Gallagher‘s daughter Anaïs knew about the reunion, and Liam once again hinted at new material saying there “could be an album if we nail this tour and be kind to one another”.
