Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) had nothing but praise for Arizona Democrats for helping get rid of out bisexual Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) this past election cycle.
“That means our communities – each and every one of us – choosing and voting for Democrats and elected officials who know how to stand for the working class,” she said at a rally in Tempe, Arizona, on Thursday that she held with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

“In fact, one thing I love about Arizonans is that you all have shown that if a U.S. senator isn’t fighting hard enough for you, you’re not afraid to replace her with one who will. And win. And that’s how you got two fantastic senators in Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego,” she continued.

Sinema, who went from being a centrist Democrat to a centrist independent in 2022, decided not to seek reelection in 2024 after she had been labeled one of the most loathed politicians in America. State Democrats didn’t like her, and she wasn’t polling well with anyone in the state, which likely contributed to her decision not to run for office again.
Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) ended up winning that Senate seat in 2024.
Ocasio-Cortez shared video of her comments about Sinema on Bluesky and wrote, “And that’s on that.”

This led to some speculation that Ocasio-Cortez was signaling that she would be running for the Senate to replace Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), who has come under fire for his refusal to take a bolder stand against the current administration and congressional Republicans. Schumer’s current term will be over in 2028.
On Bluesky, people praised Ocasio-Cortez for her comments about Sinema.
We need more AOCs!

There is a reason she is in every Republicans head and they try so hard to disparage her.
She speaks volumes and volumes of truth and one of the very true leaders of our country because she understands the working class, as she is herself as a former waitress.
She gets it. Get with the fight.
