No premiere date for Season 2 of A Man on the Inside has been set, but Netflix has revealed that the show is officially back in production. The streamer celebrated the return to work with an exciting behind-the-scenes photo of Danson in character, which you can see below.

What is A Man on the Inside about?
A Man on the Inside follows Charles, a retired man who gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad from a private investigator. Taking on the job of a mole, he plays an integral role in a secret investigation, which is set at a nursing home in Season 1. Meanwhile, Season 2’s undercover case will follow Charles to Wheeler College, where a new mystery will unfold.
Who will star in A Man on the Inside Season 2?
As mentioned above, Danson will reprise his role as Charles in the upcoming season, and we’re anticipating the likely return of Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Stephanie Beatriz, Lilah Richcreek Estrada, Eugene Cordero, and Stephen McKinley Henderson, among others. When it comes to Season 2, the show is adding Danson’s real-life wife, Mary Steenburgen, in the role of Mona Margadoff, a former musician who factors heavily into the cast that Charles will try to solve.

Additionally, it has since been revealed that Constance Marie will play a former con artist who serves as a part-time source on the criminal underworld for Estrada’s Julie. David Strathairn is set to play Dr. Cole, Wheeler College’s most popular professor and head of the English department. Gary Cole is slated to play Brad Vinick, a successful businessman whose sizable donation to his alma mater sparks a chain reaction that leads to Charles getting hired.
Jason Mantzoukas will portray Apollo Lambrakis, a contractor with dreams of writing the Great American Novel. Meanwhile, Jill Talley has been cast as Holly Bodgemark, an overworked and perpetually frazzled provost of Wheeler College. Lisa Gilroy has been tapped to play Kelseigh Rose, a budding photographer and wife of billionaire Brad. Meanwhile, Madison Hu will play Wheeler College junior Claire, who has multiple jobs to pay for her tuition.
Rounding out the Season 2 ensemble so far are Max Greenfield as Jack Beringer, the charismatic president of Wheeler College, whose job requires him to raise money from wealthy graduates. Michaela Conlin is slated to play Andrea Yi, an economics teacher at the college who is excited for the changes coming to the school, and Sam Huntington will play Max Griffin, a professor of journalism.
