Donald Trump says he’ll “take a look” at deporting Elon Musk

Donald Trump said he’ll “take a look” at the possibility of deporting Elon Musk in the wake of the Tesla mogul’s continued criticism of the One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB).

“I don’t know, I mean we’ll have to take a look,” Trump said after a reporter asked if he’d consider deporting Musk, who is from South Africa.

Folks were horrified by the post, calling it “despicable” and reminiscent of Nazi rhetoric.

“We might have to put DOGE on Elon,” Trump continued, referring to the Department of Government Efficiency that Musk once headed and used to decimate federal programs, claiming that doing so would save taxpayers money (it didn’t).

In his role, Musk first slashed millions in healthcare and food programs for the poorest people in the world and then accessed sensitive U.S. citizen data from major federal agency databases for unknown purposes. A recent New York Times report also accused Musk of regularly using various drugs during his time in the White House.

“You know what DOGE is? DOGE is the monster that might have to go back and eat Elon! Wouldn’t that be terrible?”

Musk and Trump have fallen out of favor with one another and have been publicly feuding over social media.

Musk has repeatedly slammed the GOP’s massive spending bill, most recently calling the GOP “the PORKY PIG PARTY” for trying to pass a bill that would increase the debt ceiling by trillions of dollars. He also called for the creation of “a new political party that actually cares about the people.”

“How can you call yourself the Freedom Caucus if you vote for a DEBT SLAVERY bill with the biggest debt ceiling increase in history?” he added.

Musk has previously called the bill “utterly insane and destructive” and said it “gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future.”

On Monday, he also threatened “every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing goverment spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history.”

“They will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth,” he said.

On Tuesday, Trump threatened Musk on Truth Social after repeating his claims that Musk is merely angry that the bill proposes to remove consumer tax credits for electric vehicles, something Musk has denied.

“Elon Musk knew, long before he so strongly Endorsed me for President, that I was strongly against the EV Mandate,” the president wrote.

“It is ridiculous, and was always a major part of my campaign. Electric cars are fine, but not everyone should be forced to own one. Elon may get more subsidy than any human being in history, by far, and without subsidies, Elon would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa. No more Rocket launches, Satellites, or Electric Car Production, and our Country would save a FORTUNE. Perhaps we should have DOGE take a good, hard, look at this? BIG MONEY TO BE SAVED!!!”

And now, true to Trump’s quest for retaliation on any foe, it seems he may turn to deportation.
