What MCU stars are returning for Marvel Zombies?

The new trailer not only shows off some incredible action set to appear in the series, but also reveals a ton of actors appearing in the show. These include some mainstays in the MCU, as well as some actors we haven’t seen in some time.

The full list of actors teased in the Marvel Zombies trailer includes Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch/Wanda Maximoff, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man/Scott Lang, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, David Harbour’s Red Guardian/Alexei Shostakov, Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie, Simu Liu’s Xu Shang-Chi, Awkwafina’s Katy, Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent/John Walker, Randall Park’s Jimmy Woo, Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel/Kamala Khan, and Dominique Thorne’s Ironheart/Riri Williams.

Outside of those stars, Marvel Zombies will also feature the voice of Todd Williams, who plays Blade in place of Mahershal Ali. Other stars in the series include Hudson Thames as Spider-Man, as well as a variety of yet-to-be-announced actors.

The series is directed by Bryan Andrews from a screenplay written by Zeb Wells, who is also serving as an executive producer. It is inspired by the fifth episode from Season 1 of What If…?, in which the MCU films Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018) ended in a zombie apocalypse. In a press release, Andrews teased that the show will feature “more hardcore” and “pretty wild” zombie sequences, different from what was shown in What If…?

Marvel Zombies is set to release on Disney+ on September 24, 2025.
