Yo, let me tell you ’bout Smooth, the man with unreal talent. His flow rides the beat like a boss, packing a powerful punch with lyrics that speak to all generations. While he digs all kinds of music, he stays true to the old-school Hip Hop roots that laid the foundation for his style.
This guy’s been grindin’ since day one, from the release of his first self-titled CD, “Smooth Da Thugg”, to collabs with other local artists and packed performances all over the Midwest. He’s made a name for himself in Milwaukee, Chicago, and the surrounding areas, but he understood early on that it would take skilled partnerships and other creative endeavors to take his career to the next level, resulting in his involvement in so many initiatives.
In 2019, Smooth turned his attention to entrepreneurship and helped open one of the largest storefronts for creatives and small biz owners in Wisconsin. As co-owner of Wisconsin Curated Creations, he’s given over a hundred businesses a platform to showcase their products and grow their brands. He’s even hosted community events, like the Local Artist Expo & Fashion Show, a catered dinner for the Macanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary, and a Job Fair. He’s all about givin’ back to the community, and he knows that when we work together, we’re stronger.
But that ain’t all, ’cause in 2021, Smooth launched the “Wear Fashion Meets Music Tour”, combining his love for music, entrepreneurship, and community. The tour kicked off with a bang, headlined by the legendary R&B group SWV, with Smooth himself as the opening act. They had the hilarious and mesmerizing comedian Kelly Kellz as the host and a sick fashion show by local designers and choreographers. The whole thing blew up, even catching the attention of iHeart Radio and local media outlets.
Smooth’s always hustlin’, keepin’ his eye on the prize. He’s got big plans for his music career, but he’s still gonna be involved in all kinds of business ventures. The man’s a straight-up inspiration, and we can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for us next.
