J Balvin has brought out Will Smith for a cover of the Men In Black theme song during this year’s edition of Coachella.

The Colombian singer took over the festival’s main stage performing an extraordinary set. The theme for Balvin’s Spanish show was all things aliens with a giant UFO hanging above the stage.

Towards the end of Balvin’s set, Smith rose from a platform dressed as his character from the 1997 film. He went on to perform ‘Men In Black’ – his debut single from that same year – in front of a massive alien head.

‘Men In Black’ landed the Number One spot in the UK Charts upon it’s release and earned the top spot on the Billboard US Rhythmic Chart and Number Two on the Billboard US Mainstream Top 40 Chart.

Elsewhere in his festival set, Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Jowell & Randy came through as surprise guests and performed ‘Colmillo’ with Balvin as well as ‘Triple S’ with De La Ghetto who also appeared as a guest.

Balvin’s dynamic set saw him perform his mega hits such as ‘Con Altura’, ‘RITMO (Bad Boys for Life)’, ‘X’, ‘Mi Gente and more.

J Balvin played:

‘Mi gente’ (J Balvin & Willy William cover)
‘Colmillo’ (with Jowell & Randy)
‘Dientes’
‘Reggaeton’
‘Loco contigo’ (DJ Snake cover)
‘Con altura’ (ROSALÍA cover)
‘X’ (Nicky Jam cover)
‘Click Click Flash’
‘Amarillo’
‘I Like It’ (Cardi B cover)
‘¿Qué más pues?’
‘Ginza’
‘La canción’ (J Balvin & Bad Bunny cover)
‘Rojo’
‘Triple S’ (with De La Ghetto) (also with Jowell & Randy)
‘No me conoce’ (Jhayco song) (Remix)
‘RITMO’ (Bad Boys for Life) (Black Eyed Peas cover)
‘Men in Black’ (with Will Smith)
‘Qué calor’ (Major Lazer cover)
