Drive-by Truckers, Eric Church, Killer Mike and more are set to perform at former President Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday.

The Carter Center is marking the milestone with a tribute concert at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia on September 17.

The event, titled ‘Jimmy Carter 100: A Celebration in Song’, will also feature performances from Chuck Leavell, D-Nice, GROUPLOVE, Maren Morris, The War And Treaty, and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chamber Chorus.

In a statement shared by AP ahead of the all-star event, Carter’s grandson Jason said: “Whether it was on his record players, on the campaign trail, or on the White House lawn, music has been and continues to be a source of joy, comfort and inspiration for my grandfather. I can think of no better way to celebrate him and his 100th birthday than a night of music.”

Carter is famously a lifelong music fan, maintaining long friendships with musicians such as Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson, who he invited to perform when he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.

He also campaigned with The Allman Brothers Band, and Chuck Leavell – former keyboardist for The Allman Brothers and The Rolling Stones – reflected on Carter’s impact in a statement, saying: “Back when Jimmy Carter was running for president, the Allman Brothers played concerts for his campaign because we believed in his vision for hope and change for America.

“We could never have imagined what a positive impact he would have on the entire world. It’s an honor to play at his 100th birthday and celebrate a man whose legacy will surely continue to inspire future generations.”
