Snoop Dogg‘s and Dr. Dre‘s new album ‘Missionary’ has been targeted for release in November – read on to find out more about the album.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Dre spoke about the upcoming album, which has been teased since March this year. It will be the follow-up to their 1993 album ‘Doggystyle’. Dre hinted that the album is being aimed for release in November, though a firm date has yet to be locked in.

Dr. Dre said: “I wanted 14 songs, Snoop wants 16, so we have that thing happening. I’m on song number 11 as far as the mixes go. I have to be done and delivered by September 1 to have a November release.”

Dre went on to add that Sting is set to feature on the album along others, who did not name at the time: “Man, it’s an amazing roster of artists that’s on this album. I shouldn’t have revealed that, to be honest.” He also suggested that his vocals will only feature on one song, while he focuses on producing the entire album.

He also explained about the differences between ‘Doggystyle’ and ‘Missionary’: “This one’s gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and with my music. I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve done in my career.”

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight after performing for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games handover celebration, – which also included Billie Eilish and Red Hot Chili Peppers – Dr. Dre revealed that his bond with Snoop Dogg goes much further than just recording music in the studio.

Dre said to ET: “I don’t even feel comfortable performing without Snoop. Something about the synergy that me and Snoop have is really interesting.” He went on to add, “Really, Snoop, he’s the superstar. I’m the co-star when we get on stage. It’s different when we’re in the studio, you know? I’m the captain when we’re in the studio, but when we go outside, Snoop is the guy.”
