A new The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 video is out, celebrating the beginning of production on the third season ahead of its second season’s premiere.

AMC recently took to its various social media channels, sharing a brief video of stars Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride dressed as Daryl and Carol in Spain, on location for the production of Season 3 of the hit post-apocalyptic horror drama series.

In the brief video, Reedus says the team behind the series is happy to be getting into production on the new season, before McBride ushers them off. Behind them, a decorated set dressed up to be what looks like a desolate street overgrown with foliage can be seen.

Currently, nothing is known about The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3. Season 3 of the series, titled “The Book of Carol,” is set to premiere on September 29, 2024, and will consist of six episodes.

The second season will also see the return of McBride as Carol, following a guest appearance in the first season after she was written out of the show’s original concept due to logistical issues. Additionally, Genet (Anne Charrier)’s movement builds momentum, setting Pouvoir on a violent collision course with the Union of Hope in the fight for France’s future.”
