THE AMERICAN RELICS Perform at the 40th Anniversary of International Peace Day @ Times Square 9/21/24

The quickly rising popular nostalgic band THE AMERICAN RELICS killed it at the 5 hour concert “ Pause The World For Peace” celebrating the 40th Anniversary of International Peace Day declared by the United Nations in 1984. The concert was hosted by the Good News Corporation and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine and produced by Paul Sladkus and OMMM. It was a live show bringing 380 thousand on lookers during the day and was also live streamed to the world.

THE AMERICAN RELICS consist of lead singer and guitarist John Gitano who also writes the songs, lead guitarist Neal Lazar, acoustic guitarist and vocalist Patty Jarman, bass player and vocalist Nelson Montana, vocalist Adrienne Dugger, drummer John McCann and keyboard extraordinaire Bill Gulino. Together on stage of the Crossroads of the World they performed “The Eyes of 1969.” 

Also joining them were artists including Composer Randy Edelman, Grammy winner Jilly Yeah, award winning House singer Irene Michaels, philanthropist John Pasquale, NY singer and TV host Quinn Lemley, classic/pop crossover artist international award winning Singer Giorgia Fumanti, YA Young, Keith Shocklee founder of Public Enemy, and a parade of others. There was virtual messages beginning with a moment of silence and a pkea for peace and ceasefire from Ringo Starr, and announcement of peace from Michael Douglas, Leonardo DiCaprio, Shakira, Dr. Jane Goodall, Stevie, wonder, Tony Orlando, and others.

THE AMERICAN RELICS were nominated for the Josie Music Awards in two categories taking place this October 27, 2024 in Nashville and can be seen live on November 15, 2024 at Chelsea Table & Stage located at 152 west 26th street in NYC. The Tribeca recording artists have been heard across the nation on KISS FM, Z100, and many other radio stations. Their popularity is growing fast and so are ticket sales at Chelsea so be sure to get yours before they are sold out!
