Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson shared a photo of the pair of them while on set of the upcoming Amazon MGM Studios holiday movie The Man With The Bag, where Schwarzenegger will play Santa.
The photo doesn’t show off too much, but does see the pair standing on a set littered with Christmas decorations. Schwarzenegger is also dressed in a jolly outfit, complete with white hair and a white beard for his role as Santa Claus.

What is The Man With The Bag about?
As noted above, the film will see Schwarzenegger play the role of Santa, who has his magical bag of gifts stolen and must find someone on the naughty list to help him get it. Ritchson presumably plays the former thief. The movie is directed by Adam Shankman, from a script written by Allan Rice. Lawrence Grey, Ben Everard, Reg Tigerman, Dan Spilo, and Ritchscon are attached as producers.
“When Santa’s magic bag is stolen, he turns to his naughty list to find Vance, a former thief, to help him get it back,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “Along with his daughter, Santa, and a group of misfit elves, Vance will have to pull off the greatest heist of his life to save Christmas.”
For Ritchson, this will continue his star turn throughout Hollywood. Despite having a long career in acting, Ritchson rose to fame following his starring role in the Prime Video series Reacher. The actor also appeared in 2023’s Fast X, and will next star in 2024’s Ordinary Angels and Guy Ritchie‘s The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare.
