Voting has opened for who fans want to win at the BRIT Awards 2025.
The winners in five categories will be decided this year for the first time ever by fans in a BRITs WhatsApp chat, at the ceremony which will take place at The O2 in London on Saturday March 1, and broadcast exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX.
Beginning today (January 31), fans can start a chat and follow the prompts to cast votes in the categories for Alternative/Rock Act, Dance Act, Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Pop Act and R&B Act here. Voting is open until 11:59pm on Friday, February 14 and votes can be cast in each category once per day.

Sebastian Battista Simone, SVP Audience, Warner Records & Parlophone and Co-chair of the BRITs Digital Committee said: “With billions of music fans across Meta’s platforms, we’re thrilled to expand the BRIT Awards partnership, by introducing WhatsApp as a new voting platform for the first time. Fans can now support their favourite artists directly within the app for public-voted categories, celebrating the artists with the most passionate and engaged communities.
“Combined with the power of Instagram Reels to amplify nominated artists, this collaboration ensures The BRITs reaches a global audience like never before.”
Earlier today, the first performers at the ceremony were also announced including JADE, Shaboozey, Teddy Swims, The Last Dinner Party and Myles Smith.
More acts are expected to be announced in the lead-up to the awards ceremony in March. Comedian and actor Jack Whitehall has been announced as the returning host, making it his fifth time presenting the ceremony after doing so in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
