Viewers are looking forward to the release date and time of Season 2 of The CW’s popular series, Wild Cards. The police procedural show follows Cole Ellis, a demoted detective who is tasked with transporting a con woman, Max. On their way, they are put together to solve crimes, granting them a redemption opportunity and clearing out their disgraced names. It’s been almost a year to the debut season and fans can’t wait to stream new episodes.

When does Wild Cards Season 2 come out on The CW?
Wild Cards Season 2 is scheduled to release on February 5, 2025, at 8:00 PM ET on The CW. It will also be made available to watch the next day on The CW’s website.
The show’s debut season featured a total of 10 episodes. However, fans would be pleased to hear that the current season will consist of three more episodes. Meaning, that the series will air a total of 13 episodes and each will drop weekly. Additionally, it can be expected to drop on Amazon Prime Video in the coming days, just like Season 1.
The Season 2 renewal announcement for Wild Cards was made in May 2024, after a successful Season 1. Liz Wise Lyall, Head of Scripted Programming at The CW Network confirmed to Deadline that the show will return with a second installment.

What is Wild Cards Season 2 about?
Wild Cards Season 2 will feature Max and Cole returning to collaborate once more, on a mission involving car racing. While tackling their developing feelings, they are required to solve interesting crime cases and search for a killer. Moreover, the season will be packed with suspenseful plot points, surprising turns, clever disguises, and captivating cases.
The show’s cast is led by Vanessa Morgan as Max and Giacomo Gianniotti as Cole. Other cast members include Jason Priestley, Karin Konoval, Martin Sheen, Marie Avgeropoulos, Katie Findlay, Tony D’Angelo, Terry Chen, as well as Ally Sheedy.
