Exclusive Interview with 2FOUR

Celebrity Sightings, Music

Welcome 2Four! We are excited to chat with you today. You have a single currently out titled “Party Time” – we love it! It is such a vibe. Tell us more about it and the message behind the song.

A vibe describes it perfectly actually. The message was simply to say party it up. Enjoy life. Live it up. I wanted to capture the essence of a night out or a good time and Party Time is what came out.

Do you plan to release more music soon or an EP?

Most certainly! I got some new stuff coming down the pike soon enough. Right now I’m mostly focused on pushing “Party Time” to its fullest but I will have new music coming for the rest of the year so stay tuned for that.

What have been some challenges in your career so far? What have been the greatest achievements so far?

The biggest challenges have been just finding the right people to continue to build my team and creating that sort of cult like following. There is a lot of “fake” in this business and I have done a lot of weeding out and trial and error and just finding those ways to get my music into more ears and finding that sweet spot.

My greatest achievements would be just being able to get the following and streams and recognition when it’s been mostly just me and my manager working and gaining knowledge and learning as we go. We have put in a lot of work and we are finally getting to the point to where we are starting to put things together and making the right connections. The hard work is starting to pay off.

What inspires your music the most? Do you listen to other artists to get inspiration and is there a particular song that never fails to move you emotionally?

There isn’t a particular song but I definitely listen to other artist for inspiration. I just love good music regardless of what the genre is. If it sounds good I’ll listen. I get most of my inspiration from just living life and what I see and also just thinking about my dreams, wants, experiences and stuff like that.

If you were given a one-minute ad slot during the Super Bowl, what would you fill it with?

I’m not sure exactly what I would do but I know the best super bowl commercials have something that is memorable. And something funny seems like a good way to go too.

Things have changed so much the past 10 years, tell us how do you think the industry will change over the next decade?

I think it will continue to go more and more streamlined and more technological. Analytics and AI and all the data driven stuff is gonna increase even more and eventually shift into something new or evolve into something we can’t even imagine yet. I think creatives will continue to innovate and push boundaries and keep it moving forward. Everyone is gonna have to adapt constantly and even more quickly as it moves along I think.

What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young artist just starting her career?

You will hit almost every obstacle you can see and think of. This is one of the hardest businesses out there and I’m being generous. Gain as much knowledge about the business as you can and don’t stop honing your craft. There is no such thing as free and if it seems too good to be true it probably is. Never be satisfied with where you are and most importantly, if it’s something you truly love, do not stop and do not give up.

Where can we hear your music and find you online?

Everywhere you get your music fix. I’m on all the major platforms of course like Spotify, Apple Music, etc. Just search 2Four and I usually am at the top or pop up. I also have a website at www.thereal2four.net that has all my info and you can hit me on the socials as well. Insta and Twitter is @2fourworld
