Exclusive Interview With The Exquisite Beth Muecke

Celebrity Sightings, Fashion, Gossip & Rumors, Music

Welcome Beth! Thank you for chatting with us today! I just love your style! Who would you say is your style icon?

I don’t really have one style icon, but if I had to choose it would be Coco Chanel. She was so stylish and ahead of her time that her look is still trending. She also had an independent attitude as a woman, business woman and designer.

What inspired you to start a fashion blog?

So it was 2013 and I was trying to decide what to do with the next chapter of my life. I put it out there “hey, I want to do something new and meaningful, but I have no idea what that is!” They say that if 3 different people in 3 different situations tell you the same thing, it’s the universe talking to you. By the end of 2013 I had that exact thing happen to me. Three different people and situations suggested I do something with fashion, so I launched my blog in March 2014. It has been the greatest vehicle for me living my true self.

What is your beauty must-have?

Oh gosh, that’s a tough one, but I would have to say my facial routine is a must. I have been committed to a facial beauty routine since college. My friends would come into my sorority house room and say “what’s all that?” I was like “those are my moisturizers” Today I regularly use facial masks, scrubs, toners and moisturizers. I know that this has paid off.

How do you practice self-care?

Self-care is a two-parter. The outside and the inside. They work hand in hand. For the inside I stay close to family and friends. I try to engage in activities (like music concerts) that make me happy and live in the moment. I try to have an optimistic attitude and appreciate how blessed I am. For the outside, I stick to a healthy diet, get exercise and get outdoors. I used to be a ballerina, so body appreciation is something I’ve been aware of since I was very young.

When did you get into modeling?

I initially started modeling in Chicago and then Texas when I was a teenager, I then didn’t model forever, but my blog has lead me back into it. I love wearing clothes and making them look good. I try to bring the attitude and mood of the clothing to my modeling.

How would you define success?

That’s easy. Success is when you are happy with who you are and what you are doing. Success is having people you love and they love you.
