Video Review: Ian Guerin “Chapter ll

Music, Videos

Recording artist and heart-throb Ian Guerin has just released his long awaited single and video entitled “Chapter ll” to worldwide critical acclaim.  It depicts a recent time in his life when he hopes for a second chance at romance with a girl he was in love with, only it didn’t work out….again.

Hoping to convince the girl he loved that he grew up, matured and changed his behaviors from when they first began to date, he tried to have a meeting with her over coffee after friending her on Facebook. His hopes were crushed after the girl never showed up and then ghosted him. The next best thing was to write a cathartic song about it, and he came up with “Chapter ll.” Guerin writes his songs authentically from his heart. There is always an emotional and passionate side to his tracks because many of them come from his real-life experiences as did this one.

Ian has been seen on the ABC network, digital journal, Fox TV, and NBC. His “Irreplaceable” album by the same name, was preceded by a string of successful singles including,  “Cry”, the UK Best Song of the Year, and “Roll the Dice”, UK Best Single of the Year.

The powerful video accompanying the single stars Ian and accomplished ballerina Lupita Martinez. It was written and directed by filmmaker and director Marlene Guerin and produced by Director of photography Danny Valdez. This was all accomplished during the COVID-19 lockdown in May. It is heart-warming and intimate while telling story of the fractured romance.

“Chapter ll” is commercially and radio friendly as well as sexy and inspirational.  It has an element of empowerment for those hoping to try and fix a romance and it openly tell the story of Ian’s sorrow. It’s definitely a worthy addition to anyone’s playlist…..

5/5 Stars
