What are you doing today to make sure you’re staying your best self?
I wake up early to do my yoga session at home. I take time to appreciate my body and the hard work it does. I used to feel silly about doing this and now I understand how important it is to show yourself love. I’m taking time to do things I love and have missed doing, recently I picked up belly dancing again, and just doing a lot of at home maintenance.
Any secrets to keep grounded in a crazy industry like music?
Surround yourself with positive people. We absorb so much from our surroundings and it’s crazy how much your mood and work ethic are influenced by the people you have near you.
We can’t rave enough about your latest single ‘Fading Memories’! If you could have anyone feature on it who would it be?
Thank you so much!!! That means everything to me! In my dream world it would be either Jane Birkin, Vanessa Paradis, or Benjamin Biolay.
What’s next for you?
I’m getting ready for the release of my album ‘Yours Always’. I have some super fun shoots in the works that will highlight some of the more fantasy elements of the album. I can’t wait for that to happen!
Who is inspiring you to work harder?
Seeing how hard my friends work on their own music and how we support each other is so inspiring. Knowing that what I do evokes some sort of emotion fuels everything I do.
