Ashley Jones has reportedly been cast in Beyond the Gates, which was recently renewed for seasons 3 and 4 on CBS. This soap opera follows the Dupree family, who reside in a Maryland suburb outside Washington, DC, and are part of an affluent and powerful community. Beyond their status, wealth, and royalty, they come across eventful challenges, secrets, and scandals.
Ashley Jones joins Beyond the Gates cast
A spokesperson from CBS told Soap Opera Digest that Jones will be joining the cast of Beyond the Gates. Interestingly, the soap veteran was also spotted in the season renewal celebration video, posted by Maurice P. Kerry, who plays Randy Parker in the show. She appeared to be standing next to Kerry, sporting a black sleeveless top. At the time of writing, CBS didn’t disclose any details on her role and what story she would be involved in.
Previously, Jones has also worked in popular soap operas like The Young and the Restless, General Hospital, and The Bold and the Beautiful. In Y&R, she debuted in 1997 to play Megan Dennison. Her character was the daughter of Keith, and her mother was deemed to be dead. During her initial appearance, she was a student at Genoa City University.
Jones joined B&B in 2004 to take on the role of Bridget Forrester, which, before her, was played by Jennifer Finnigan. Bridget was the daughter of Eric Forrester and Brooke Logan. Jones played the character on a contract basis till 2011; after that, she appeared in a recurring capacity.
In GH, she took the role of Parker Forysth, a professor who initially had issues with Kristina. She was a part of the show from 2016 to 2017. Apart from these popular soaps, she has also been a part of The Fire Next Time, The Rookie, Bones, The Mentalist, and Criminal Minds, among others.
