Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding to model Bettina Anderson occurred on a small private island in the Bahamas this weekend. Anderson’s late father, Harry Loy Anderson Jr., maintained banking accounts for now-deceased millionaire child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Anderson was president of the Palm Beach National Bank & Trust Company, who once described Epstein as “a gentleman of the highest integrity” with an “excellent reputation in our community” in a 1998 letter to the Industrial Development Commission, a business development board in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Donald Trump Sr. had a long, well-documented friendship with Epstein before their eventual falling out.

The president didn’t attend his son’s wedding this last weekend, nor did his wife, Melania, nor his youngest son, Barron. However, Donald Trump Jr.’s sisters — Ivanka, Lara, and Tiffany Trump — all attended.

Anderson reportedly wanted to hold the event at the White House, but neither Donald Trump nor Donald Trump Jr. thought it was a good idea. One source reportedly told British gossip columnist Rob Shuter, “Trump’s focus right now is legacy, the election, UFC, and global issues — not flowers, seating charts, and cake tastings.”
