A giant inflatable bust depicting the shirtless tattooed likeness of transphobic, white supremacist near-trillionaire Elon Musk appeared in New York City’s Times Square on Thursday morning. Its appearance foreshadowed the Friday debut of Musk’s space exploration company, SpaceX, on the NASDAQ, the digital stock trading marketplace headquartered in the city.
The inflatable showed Musk smiling with a heart tattoo that says “ketamine” on his left shoulder (a reference to his high-profile use of the drug), and the phrase, “SpaceX’s Grok makes AI child porn” printed on his upper abdomen and back. The barricades around the inflatable repeated the phrase and contained the hashtag #StopSpaceXChildNudes.

The inflatable refers to the fact that Grok, Musk’s AI chatbot continues to generate child pornography and nonconsensual sexually explicit images of real-life people, including children and teenagers.

The district attorney of Bucks County, Pennsylvania recently said Grok helped a man create more than 30 images of AI-generated child porn last April.
Three teen girls in California recently sued Musk for allegedly allowing a Grok user to nonconsensually alter their photos and videos to generate nude and sexualized images of them. Lawyers for the girls said the chatbot’s ability to sexually alter images and video was created to increase use of the chatbot and of Musk’s social network X as well.
