Pro-Trump Italian artist Sergio Furnari announced that his statue of MAGA influencer Charlie Kirk will appear in New York City’s Times Square on September 10, one year after his murder. Instagram commenters on the artist’s page say it’ll be “destroyed and vandalized within seconds” of its display, Radar Online reported.
One Instagram commenter wrote, “Don’t bring that bulls**t to NYC; I promise it will get vandalized.” Another wrote, “From someone who lived in NYC, this Charlie Kirk monument won’t make it overnight without being vandalized.”

Furnari has started raising money for the so-called monument on the Christian crowdfunding platform GiveSendGo. So far, he has raised only $1,462 toward his $150,000 goal.
Kirk called being gay an “error,” compared homosexuality to drug addiction, opposed gay marriage and adoption by non-heterosexual married couples, called stoning gay people to death “God’s perfect law,” accused LGBTQ+ people of trying to “corrupt” children, and encouraged misinformation about and violence against transgender people.

“There’s been lots of talk from politicians, and none of them, absolutely none of them have come up with a serious plan or a financial business plan to install a memorial for Charlie. We the People can erect this eternal masterpiece,” the crowdfunding campaign states. “Donors of any kind will have their name engraved on the Monument’s platform. So yes, your name will be eternally attached to Charlie Kirk.”
