Fresh off her failed attempt to turn the president’s trans military ban into law this week, Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) – known for her belief in conspiracy theories – said on Tuesday that the moon landing was faked in an Amazon warehouse.
The moon landing was in 1969. Amazon was founded in 1994.

MeidasTouch reporter Pablo Manriquez caught Boebert outside of the Capitol and asked her what she thinks about the moon landing, whose anniversary was this week.
“I don’t know, I think it was done in an Amazon warehouse,” she responded, looking at her phone.

She then seemed to realize the anachronism in what she said and added, “Oh, they didn’t have those then. A different warehouse.”
“I’m not convinced in half the things the government tells us,” the sitting U.S. congresswoman continued. “Have a great day.”
