A trans woman is suing NBCUniversal and Universal Studios, claiming she was punished after reporting sexual harassment by her supervisor and has since suffered both financial and emotional distress.
Nikki Campus worked for the company as a crafts service worker starting in 2010, and she began to transition in 2019, according to court documents obtained by the Independent. As she transitioned, she said she was bullied by colleagues and subsequently harassed by a new supervisor who took on the role in 2022.

The complaint reportedly states that one colleague called her an “abomination” and suggested she speak with his pastor.
Campus alleges the supervisor – named as Charles Woods according to the New York Post – propositioned her for sex after commenting on her body and touching her thigh during a golf cart ride in 2025. He also allegedly told her he was “not opposed” to cheating on his wife.

“At that point, plaintiff became overwhelmed and quickly walked away without responding,” the lawsuit states.
The lawsuit claims he also made comments like, “Is your a** real or did you have surgery to get that a**?” She also said he asked invasive questions about her genitalia and spoke with her coworkers about his belief that she should not be using the women’s restroom.
Campus claims her supervisor punished her after she rejected him by being extra hard on her and giving her “menial” tasks. When she reported the behavior, which led to two separate internal investigations that did not result in any consequences for Woods, Campus said he approached her and said he could do whatever he wanted.
She alleged the retaliation escalated when she was not promoted to department head and then had her hours significantly reduced – from full-time to only a few hours every few weeks. She believes both moves were a direct result of her reporting the alleged misconduct from her supervisor.
According to the Independent, NBCUniversal and Universal Studios have yet to file a response to the suit.
