Outer Banks Season 5 is the final installment in the franchise. The chapter showcases the Pogues hitting rock bottom following JJ’s loss in Morocco. They are stranded from their home, lost the Blue Crown, and are surrounded by threats. As such, the group embarks on one final mission to achieve their goals and avenge their friend.

Chase Stokes, who plays John B. Routledge, teased a satisfying conclusion for the fans in his interview with Hello! “I think this show is always going to test your patience, and it’s going to make your heart race, and you’re going to get mad at characters, and then you’re going to fall back in love with them for whatever stupid mistake they make, because they kind of right their wrongs, but in true Outer Banks fashion, I think anybody who’s gone on the journey with us, they’re going to be pretty satisfied with how it all ends,” he said. Stokes added that the final season “checks all the boxes.”

Besides Stokes, Season 5 features Madelyn Cline, Madison Bailey, Drew Starkey, and Jonathan Daviss, among others, in key roles.
