After performances from 11 acts on Night 2 of the America’s Got Talent Quarterfinals, the results are officially in. During the August 26 results show, host Terry Crews revealed who will be moving on in the competition.
Mel B. had the Live Golden Buzzer this week and sent Nene Royal automatically into the Finals, along with Howie Mandel‘s Golden Buzzer pick from last week, Hundred Fingers. Heading into the results show, ten acts awaited their fate.
Before Crews shared who was safe, he recapped the previous night’s performances, which included two red buzzers from Mel B. (for Nyjah Music & Zyah Rhythm and Brad & Tracy.) Mel was also skeptical of Patrox’s act, although Mandel and Sofia Vergara loved the backwards dance routine. (Simon Cowell was not in attendance for this week’s tapings due to surgery related to his back issues.)
The judges’ opinions didn’t matter, though, as the vote was in America’s hands. With three acts advancing to the Semifinals, that meant that seven were eliminated and not moving forward in the competition.

Who made the Semifinals?
Before the Semifinalists were announced, there were five acts who found out they had the possibility of moving on. Those acts were: Veronika Goroshkova, Butter and Grit, Come Here, Geno Ploeger, and Mackenzie Sol.
The three acts that made the Semifinals are: Veronika Goroshkova, Come Here, and Geno Ploeger. They join last week’s Semifinal advancers, Olivia Befus, Luke Taleno, and Royal Lasers.
There are two more weeks of Quarterfinals left, which means six more acts will move on to the Semifinals, and two more Golden Buzzers will join Nene Royal and Hundred Fingers in the Finals.
Who was eliminated?
The seven acts that were eliminated on Night 2 are: LaRussell, Brad and Tracy, Patrox, Nyjah Music and Zyah Rhythm, Bety, Mackenzie Sol, and Butter and Grit.
