Eva Mendes took to Instagram to share a carousel of black-and-white photos, one of which had a Ryan Gosling connection. “Sometime this August,” she captioned the post.
The pictures showed the Training Day star posing in a car while wearing a see-through short dress. In one of the images, she flaunted her ink on her wrist that read “de Gosling.” The tattoo seemed to be inspired by her longtime beau, Ryan Gosling.
Moreover, Mendes replied to a comment from a fan who was going gaga over the ink. “It’s the only one I have, the only one I’ve ever wanted,” the 52-year-old wrote. For those unaware, married women in Hispanic cultures often tend to use “de,” meaning “of,” before their husband’s name.
The tattoo could suggest that Mendes identifies herself as Eva Mendes de Gosling. She also showed off the tattoo in 2022, with many assuming it was a confirmation of her marriage to the La La Land star.
Mendes and Gosling have been together since 2011. The couple are also proud parents to two daughters, Esmeralda and Amanda. They welcomed Esmeralda Amada in 2014, while Amada Lee Gosling was born in 2016.
There were rumors that the couple secretly tied the knot in 2016, but nothing was confirmed. In 2022, Mendes sent fans into a frenzy by calling Gosling her husband during an appearance promoting the Ronald McDonald House charity on Today Australia.
She said, “I’m loving it here.” The mother of two further added, “Everybody is amazing, everybody is welcoming us, it’s been so beautiful. My husband Ryan is here … and our children are here, we’re having the best time.”
