Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s marriage is officially coming to an end. On September 4, the Full House alum filed for divorce from Giannulli after nearly 30 years of marriage, per documents obtained by Entertainment Weekly.
Loughlin cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for her divorce and listed her and Giannulli’s separation date as August 31, 2025. “They are living apart and taking a break from their marriage,” Loughlin’s rep told People last year. “There are no legal proceedings at this time.” The former couple married on November 19, 1997, and share two children: Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade Giannuli.
One day before the divorce news was made public, Loughlin shared an Instagram video with the caption, “Here’s to things working out.” She returned to Instagram on August 31 after deleting her account seven years ago.
Over the past year, Loughlin has made her triumphant return to Hallmark. The actress made a splash with a brief cameo as Abigail in the When Calls the Heart Season 13 finale, seven years after her last appearance. Loughlin will return in Season 14 of the highly anticipated Hallmark series, which is currently in production. She will also reprise her role as Jennifer in the upcoming Hallmark film, Garage Sale Mysteries: Murder Takes the Stage.

“I just want to thank everyone at Hallmark for being so loving and so welcoming,” Loughlin said about her return to When Calls the Heart at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in 2025. “And this just feels incredible. And I think — I mean, you guys all know it — we have such a special cast and such a special bond, and it’s just so nice to be back with my family.”
The 62-year-old actress has kept a low profile since the 2019 college admissions scandal. Following an FBI investigation, Loughlin and Giannulli were arrested over their involvement in securing fraudulent admissions for their daughters to the University of Southern California as crew recruits, despite the girls having no history of rowing crew. The former couple ultimately entered guilty pleas, with Loughlin serving two months in prison and Giannulli serving nearly five months.
