Joining the cast of Season 35 is a major full-circle moment for Cameron, who started his season of The Bachelorette by dancing shirtless in his intro video. Who is Tate Madden?
Cameron’s wife-to-be is a model and influencer. While the two have been in each other’s lives for four years, Cameron hard-launched their relationship in 2024. After two years of dating publicly, Cameron popped the question.
Recently, Cameron posted about Madden’s birthday, writing, “To my lovely fiancé, I would like to wish you a happy 33rd birthday. You are the greatest multiplier of my life. You have given me so much love, so much life, so much fun, and so much peace. You have made my life so much more than I could have ever imagined. I am so lucky to call you my fiancé, and soon call you my wife. Never change. Never dim that light. Can’t wait to spend many more birthdays with you! I love you my lady.”
When did Tyler Cameron and Tate Madden get engaged?
Cameron proposed to Madden in August 2026, during their trip to Little Palm Island in the Florida Keys. On August 15, Cameron posted a photo of himself on one knee in front of Madden, telling his followers, “Better late than never they say.”
He later posted a video of the proposal, writing, “A moment we will forever cherish. A moment we get to build on for the rest of our lives. The best chapters are in front of us and I can’t wait to do them with you.” He added, “I documented the whole thing for the kids to watch someday.”
How did Tyler Cameron and Tate Madden meet?
The couple met in 2022, while Cameron was filming Going Home with Tyler Cameron. At the time, Cameron had recently moved back to his hometown in Florida, where Madden was living. The two started as friends and worked together, with Madden joining Going Home with Tyler Cameron as photographer for the Airbnb they had built.
While the two went on their first date for Madden’s 30th birthday in 2023, The Bachelorette alum revealed to E! News that his costar, Jason Tartick, tried to set them up the year prior when she guest-starred on Cameron’s show. He confessed, “Jason was right, I gotta admit. Jason had an eye for it.”
What happened between Tyler Cameron and Hannah Brown?
Cameron was a fan-favorite contestant on Hannah Brown‘s season of The Bachelorette, where he made it all the way to the final episode before Brown chose to get engaged to Jed Wyatt over him. After the season, Brown learned that Wyatt had a girlfriend all along, and she briefly reconnected with Cameron.
Today, they’re both in different relationships, but for the longest time viewers saw Cameron as Brown’s “One That Got Away.” Oh, and Brown won the Mirrorball with Alan Bersten after the season aired, so no pressure, Tyler.
