VisionQuest’s new teaser trailer gives fans a quick glimpse of T’Nia Miller as Jocasta, the show’s new MCU villain. The brief shot offers the first official look at Miller’s character in the upcoming Marvel series.
The footage shows Jocasta with glowing red eyes, giving viewers a striking introduction to the character. Marvel has kept much of her storyline under wraps, but her appearance confirms Miller’s role in the series. Jocasta is also expected to have important ties to Ultron, who returns for the show.
What do we know about T’Nia Miller’s role in the VisionQuest show?
According to Marvel Comics, T’Nia Miller‘s Jocasta is a robotic character created by Ultron as his companion. She was based on the brain patterns of Janet van Dyne, also known as the Wasp, before eventually turning against Ultron.
VisionQuest marks Jocasta’s live-action MCU debut after years of speculation about bringing her into the franchise. In an interview with Diva Magazine, Miller described the character as “so badass” and said, “She’s beautiful to play.” Marvel has not revealed how closely the series will follow Jocasta’s comic book history.
VisionQuest creator Terry Matalas has also singled out Miller’s casting as an important addition. He called her one of the show’s “standout” characters, suggesting Jocasta will have a notable presence in the series.
James Spader also returns as Ultron, giving Jocasta’s introduction an established connection to the MCU villain. Paul Bettany reprises his role as Vision after the events of WandaVision. Their story forms the central part of the upcoming series.
The cast also includes Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd and Todd Stashwick as Paladin. Emily Hampshire plays E.D.I.T.H., while Orla Brady portrays F.R.I.D.A.Y. James D’Arcy also returns as J.A.R.V.I.S. for the Marvel series.
VisionQuest follows White Vision as he attempts to rebuild his identity after WandaVision. The story brings him into conflict with Ultron while introducing several new characters. The eight-episode series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.
