An actor on General Hospital jumped networks and appeared on The Price Is Right on October 6. He won a car, and fans noticed who he was.
Hudson West, who played Jake Webber on the ABC soap opera, was on TV again. He is the son of mob enforcer Jason Morgan and nurse Elizabeth Webber via a one-night stand, and the legal son of Lucky Spencer. The character appeared sporadically on the show from 2007 to 2024.
Aside from the soap opera, West also appeared on NCIS: Los Angeles, Paul Blart: Map Cop 2, Klaus, Dancing With the Stars: Juniors, Grace and Frankie, among other roles. Now, the child actor ventured into other TV appearances — game shows. On DWTS: Juniors, he was paired with Kameron Couch, and they placed 10th.
He was the first contestant who tried to win a prize on October 6. West bid $3,000 on a five-night stay at the Bandon Marina Inn in Oregon. His opponent, Charles, bid $4,550, which was too high, so West got the chance to play a game for a prize.
The soap actor played Any Number for four Coach watches and a box or a KIA K4 LXS. West was given a two for the first number of the car. He chose a six first, which was the last number of the car.
West then picked a seven, which was the second-to-last number of the car. He then picked a four, which was the last number of the watches. When West chose a five, it appeared as the second number of the car, leaving him with only one number left to pick for the car.
For his last number, the General Hospital actor picked three. It was the last number he needed for the car, resulting in him winning it. He fell to the floor in shock before getting up and running in excitement towards his new car.
West went on to spin the wheel, where he landed on 65. It was not enough to advance to the Showcase since his opponent, Jenny, spun a .95.
A fan posted a photo of him on the show to Facebook, and others thought they recognized him. “He looked familiar to me too,” one fan said.
“I thought he looked familiar. It was driving me crazy,” another said.
“Totally awesome,” a third added.
“Good for him,” many others said.
“OMG, I watched it live and didn’t realize it was him,” an X user said.
“That is fantastic, You ROCK, Hudson!” another commented.
“I just love that guy,” one last fan said.
